Camilla Serrão is a graphic designer, illustrator, visual artist and researcher based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She works with visual narratives and multimedia graphic explorations. She holds a Masters degree (MSc) in Design from PUC-Rio (2021). She has received a BFA in Graphic Design from PUC-Rio (2018). She researches connections between illustration and narrative structures, and the use of drawing as a contribution for the study of folkloric traditions.
Camilla also works as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Has work experience in Editorial Design, having worked for a year and half in Editora Caras. She was awarded in the 4th Latin American Design Awards, in 2020, and won first place among Brazilians in the international showing PARLA! 2017. She has also participated in exhibitions and design fairs with autoral projects.
